SEMI-DETACHED HOUSES WITH RESARO TECHNOLOGY
IN BOLLSTANÄS, UPPLANDS VÄSBY
Four semi-detached houses (= 8 homes). Built according to
Resaro's ideas.
Resaro's concrete structures in the basement
floor.

Integrated bearing beams for the walls
An intermediate floor element is visible in
the background. Ready to be lifted from the mold
|
Plenty of room for installations

FOUNDATION
|
Founding the cold season no problem. |
|
Quick and easy-to-work foundation. |
|
The drainage layer laid on top of a strong,
fully welded radon-tight tarpaulin.
The green cloth temporarily protects against
frost.
|
|
A load-bearing thermal insulation layer is
laid out on a carefully leveled gravel string around the outer
walls. |
|
The insulation carries the bottom joist, which
is cantilever and the intermediate floor.
Flat surfaces without levels provide quick
preparation.
The straight ruler shows the accuracy.
|
|
The interior parts of the foundation are isolated.
The insulation encloses both the bottom beam
layer downwards and the outer walls outwards at a constant thickness.
|
No thermal bridges outwards towards
the winter cold or down towards the bedrock. |

PREFABLE: BASIC FLOOR AND WALLS
|
The floor joists are laid out. |
|
The floor joists for a semi-detached house
(two apartments)
in place. |
|
The panels of the joist elements are fixed
with welds to each other.
The joint is filled with use for the interaction
between the elements and to prevent draft.
|
|
The walls are fixed with welding blades in
level below the floor surface.
Joining with concrete in the joint between
the wall and the joists and in the longitudinal joints of the
floor joists gives the draft density.
|
|
Time for the intermediate floor. |
|
Welding blades are hidden inside the intermediate
floor.
The walls are joined in the vertical joints,
which are designed as double grooves and filled with expanding
joints.
Sealed against draft!
|
|
Here are the recesses for the joists' bearing
teeth.
The joists give a central load on the wall
below without appearing bending on it.
The wall above rests on the lower wall teeth
which are visible at the top.
|
This load also seems central and without bending
moment.
Without bending forces on the wall, the concrete
slab can be made thinner and more insulation in the walls can
fit on the outside of the body.
In addition, without bridges!
Such an energy-efficient use of the construction
material gives considerably less heating costs

WALLS IN THE BOTTOM FLOOR BEING MOUNTED
|
The exterior walls erected.
Time for the partitions.
One of the partitions is provided with mineral wool for better
sound damping.
|
|
Quick installation.
Light walls.
The walls are placed in joints which harden
and function as a bearing.
This procedure also provides maximum air leak
leakag
|
|
Fine adjustment.
Open beams
all the way to the walls.
|
|
The groove in the walls is filled with grout
Double grooves with irregularities provide
better locking against shear movements.
|
|
Detail of exterior corners
Completely separate house blocks provide the
best sound climate between the dwellings

PREFAB: INTERMEDIATE FLOOR AND BOTTOM FLOOR
|
Intermediate floor elements with bearings.
End member.
Arranging using the element plate instead
of on the beams gives advantages.
|
|
Quick installation.
Light structural floors.
Open beams
right up to the supporting walls.
|
|
Open for installations inside the floor.
The picture shows:
Opening for staircase, with the interlocking bar hidden inside
the floor.
|
|
Slit for circulating hot air and ventilation
air in the home.
Used for power cables in a new installation
system.
Provides power to removable wall outlets included
in the "fixed electrical system".
|
|
The intermediate floor in place.
The insulation covers the concrete body with
its full thickness, right down from the ground up to the upper
floor's floor space.
No cold bridges.
Saves energy.
The teeth of the walls reach up a bit above the floor surface.
The joist teeth can be angularly "unobstructed"
in the space created between the lower and upper wall parts.
The floor slab can thus be made thinner without
breaking apart at angular movements caused by load.
|
|
Circulating hot air in the joists gives the
residents "soft" underfloor heating in both floors.
Temperature equalization when the body stores
energy, further lowers the heating costs.
|
On the purchase a significantly
better sound climate between the floors. |

bottom structural floor concrete plate.a |
|
Sewage pipes from bath and toa from the upper
floor is drawn invisibly inside the intermediate floor.
Accessible in the future

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS
|
Electricity is very quickly installed
inside the floor.
Accessible in the future.

INNER WALLS & CEILINGS
|
The picture is taken at the stairwell, shows
the interior walls with one side boarding.
The ceiling on steel studs below the Resaro structural floor.
Today we always turn the structural elements
with the slab downwards.
The installations go faster and the floorboards
are laid on without having to be screwed.
Electric cables for stair lighting.

(A steel stud is tilted in the
corner) |
HEATING AND VENTILATION UNIT
|
Rough filter.
All cirkulation air together with the ventilation air passes
two filters before it enters the living rooms.
The rough filter is simply cleaned about once a month by giving
it a shower.
A pressure guard tells you when it is time. |
|
Fine filter:
A bag filter with standard dimensions and big filter areas.
The fine filter, of which you settle the fineness, needs to be
changed every second year.
A rapid connection system facilitates the change.
All filth which gets caught in the filters you are spared from
inhaling.
There are space enough for an alternative electrostatic filter. |
New filter models of Gore Tex
which can be washed and recycled is developing |
